16th August 2012 Windsurfing: Broadhaven Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: 16 Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Big swell came in last night (Wednesday) as forecast. Never seen so many surfers at Broadhaven - presumably locals after work - decided to wait until the morning as there was not much daylight left. Thursday morning bright and sunny, still good swell, cross shore, but not as strong as Wednesday. V difficult to get out - huge holes, but 5.3 OK in gusts. 6 or 7 windsurfers out. Good session - absolutley cream crackered now. |
